Founders' Day Scavenger Hunt
Founders' Day Scavenger Hunt
October 7-19th

Did you know…
· About a Clinton church rivalry in the 1950s?
· That the cure for hemorrhoids could be found in a hotel?
· That blood literally ran on a Clinton street?

These are just some of the stories you will read when you complete the Founders’ Day Scavenger Hunt! We have placed signs at ten locations around town that tell one story that happened there, with QR codes to even more history about each place. When you sign up for the hunt at the library, you’ll get a sheet with a list of all locations and a map to help you find them.

At each location, you’ll see a sign with the Founders' Day Scavenger Hunt logo. Read the story of that location, scan the QR code for more information, and look for the Founders’ Day Scavenger Hunt Code Word. Write the code word on your scavenger hunt sheet. Once you collect all the code words, you can turn in your scavenger hunt sheet at the library to win a prize!

You can get your sheet either at the library or by printing it from this site starting October 7th and you have until October 22nd to turn it in. We will post all of the location signs on the website after the scavenger hunt ends.

The Founders’ Day Scavenger hunt is open to all ages!

History isn’t just found in books; it’s all around us! Go out there and find it!
