Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library Book Store
The Friends of The Library sell gently used books, DVD/Blu-rays, Audiobooks, & CDs. The Friends continually stock the Friends Book Shop located in the Lobby of the library. The Friends of the Library also host 2 large book sales each year, one in the Spring & again in the Fall. All proceeds from the Friends Book Shops benefit the library by helping to fund special programs and/or supplies for the library. ​

Community Day at Weldon Springs - the Friends had an information table at this first-time event.
​Key Goals for 2025 include: raising money for a cover for the outdoor seating area on the library's green space, Mango Language subscription, volunteering with Encore to clean out and organize their book section.

Interested in volunteering in the Friends of the Library organization? The Friends of the Library meet on the first Saturday of every month at 10AM in the Activity Room on the Children's Floor of the library. No dues are required.
